The Navigation Bar Part 1:
Student, Teacher, Staff, and Parent Portals are found to the left of each of the new websites. Based on your role, the portal features all the links and basic information you will need most often. You can find bell schedules, lunch menus, PTA websites, and site based policies or procedures among many helpful resources. Again, all chosen based on your needs by role. To find teacher websites, you have two options. Click on grade levels for elementary sites or Academics for the Junior High and High School sites, or click on the directory button on the bottom right of each main page.
The Navigation Bar Part 2:
The right side of the navigation bar houses the essentials for our students and staff with a home button, school email and calendar, Google Classroom, Illuminate Parent and Student portal, and a search icon.
This icon returns you to the landing page of the website. Clicking the school or district name will also return you to the landing page.
Gmail and Calendar:
Staff, Students, and Teachers can use these icons to access school email and calendars.
Illuminate Student and Parent Portal:
Parents of 7th-12th graders and students in 7th-12th grades can use this icon to access grades. Students in 3rd-12th grade can also use the Illuminate portal to take online assessments. The accounts are different. Parents sign up by visiting Mrs. Norman for 7/8 and Mrs. Hicklin for 9-12. Activation is done with a registration code and parent email. Students already have access with this school email accounts and use the red Google login button within the portal.
Classroom is a learning management tool that teachers use for assignment distribution and student use this tool for assignment submission. This tool offers support in digital organization for our students.
This is the search feature that will scour the current site for any keywords entered.
Bonus! Translation Available
Add the bottom of every website is a translate option. While not perfect, this does offer some support in translating the website into many languages.
